CLT 361 Notes 9/11/2012

· We read through the instructions for the exam due on Friday, however please refer to them as needed so that there is no confusion as to what needs to be done.
· You can answer as little or as many questions as you would like, as long as you feel comfortable with the questions you are answering, and it meets the length requirement of 4 pages.
-Do not feel like you have to pick the questions you feel are the hardest, for there will be no extra points for those.
Professor: What does the word reterict mean
- Student: Ways you predict arguments
Professor: There are many different ways to get something done, and that doesn’t mean that one way is better than the other, and we have a lot of things to be aware of when we make our own judgements.
-Our happiness can increase when we take time to understand our life and why it is the way it is. One way of doing this is discourse.
Discussion: Think about each of these four terms while the groups are going through their prompts for the day. (Assumptions, Strength of the argument, Related things to the given topic being discussed that may be in your own importance or interest, and Clarification of what someone is saying if you are unclear.)
